“My ultimate goal is to help people achieve and grow their fitness goals. I want everybody to improve and maintain their fitness and finally find peace and balance between being in shape and living a healthy, non-restrictive life.”
My name is Marian, and I’m a founder of Brain & Body Trainer.
Why do I do what I do?
When I was five years old, my father introduced me to ice hockey. Physical exercise and sport became an integral part of my life since then. I’ve learned valuable lessons:
Discipline.
Never give up.
Take care of the body.
Work with and for others.
Be supportive and respectful.
Work hard to accomplish any goals.
Punctuality is the politeness of kings.
Deal with failures and disappointments.
Waking up at 5 am to be on time for training.
It takes long hours of practice to achieve goals.
After ten years of fun on the ice, at age 15, I found my passion for weightlifting and later for bodybuilding. Here is what I’ve learned:
It’s addictive.
No pain, no gain.
Form over weight.
Food is more than fuel.
Exercise is the easier part.
Consistency above everything.
Last reps are the most important.
Chicken with rice is incredibly dull.
Look after your body. It’ll look after you.
Do what makes you happy and work hard.
Importance of self-esteem and body image
